about reanne.

reanne, also known as Marienne Felisilda, is a recording artist, vocalist, songwriter, musician, vocal producer and vocal instructor from Hong Kong.

She’s no stranger to the music scene, having had her start at the age of 14 when she and a group of friends formed a band called ‘Narrow Road’, that eventually won first place in the local Tom Lee Soundbase acoustic band competition in 2006.

She went on to sing regularly at church, be a part of several musicals and played the part of Gabriella in High School Musical Live on Stage under the EXCEL program at HKAPA.

She has also been a part of numerous recording projects, conferences and events, both locally and internationally, making her a versatile singer in any given context.

She eventually studied Music with a specialisation in Worship at the International House of Prayer University (IHOPU) in Kansas City, Missouri.

There, she took on roles as a regular singer on several worship teams, including the likes of Clay Edwards and Jon Thurlow, and joining them on stage for the Onething Conference in 2013.

Upon an unexpected return to Hong Kong, reanne developed a passion to further understand mental health as she began her own recovery. Slowly, she made her way back into the music scene with her debut EP, Closure, marking the beginning of a new chapter.

In Hong Kong, as a guest artist, she’s joined Janice Vidal at her Be Still Concert at the Hong Kong Coliseum, and G. Racie at her first concert at the Macpherson Stadium, and Seasons for Change in their single, Move On, among many others.

Since then, she’s a frequent collaborator with various artists and regularly enjoys crossing genres, ranging from the ambient space to gospel to pop jazz and even rock.

In her free time, you might find her caught up in hours of Apex Legends, or geek out over Fallout, and maybe the occasional knit. She might also ask to catch up over a coffee, but it’s been a running joke that it takes her ages to plan it (but it will happen!). She’s also awkward at karaoke.

Whether you’ve been following along the journey for a while or just discovered my music, thanks for stopping by!
